Musical interpretation of the poem “Agony” by Polish-Jewish poet Zuzanna Ginczanka, written in 1934, where she calls Europe to die.

With a sentimental lyre -

Artemis white and slender

looks through the moon’s mirror -

such is the stellar destiny

mysteriously passed judgment:

nothing can save you,

nothing can defend you:

: you die, old Europe,

with pathos you are clanking like a corpse,

"o France, - o England, - o Germany, - o Lithuania!!!",

you are coughing up

with soldiers’ rhythms

you rot with gangrene - police,

you drip codes with oil -.

- you die, old Europe!
